Drywall repair in Aurora, Colorado

One hole.One visit.Nothing shows.

Most repairs are finished in a single visit. The hard part was never filling the hole — it is matching the texture around it so nobody can find where it was.

A finished entry wall and stairwell on an Aurora job, patched and sanded flat.

What we patch

If it is on a wall or a ceiling and it should not be there, chances are we fixed one this week.

Holes

Doorknobs, furniture, feet, fists. Anything from a coin to a full sheet — cut square, backed, patched and textured.

Settlement cracks

The diagonal crack over your door frame is usually Colorado soil moving, not bad taping. Mesh tape and a wide feather so it does not open up the same way again.

Water-stained ceilings

Hail, ice dams, upstairs plumbing. We cut back to dry, sound board. Skimming over a stain only hides it until it bleeds back through.

Nail pops & corner bead

Screw heads working loose, and corners dinged by a vacuum or a move. Re-fastened, filled and feathered.

Failed patches

The square patch from whoever came before that shows up in window light. It is almost always mismatched texture. We sand it back and redo it.

Plumber & electrician cutouts

The other trade opened the wall and left it open. We close it up so it reads like it was never opened.

What a repair costs

Nobody wants to chase three quotes over one hole. These are normal ranges around the Denver metro. Text a photo and you get your actual number the same day.

Small patch Up to about 6 inches. Doorknob, anchor hole, moving damage.
$150–$300
Medium patch Six inches to two feet. Plumbing cutout, electrical box, door damage.
$250–$450
Several areas A list of repairs in one trip. Far cheaper than calling us out three times.
$400–$800
Water-damaged ceiling section Cut back to sound board, re-hung, taped and re-textured.
$500–$1,200
Whole-room re-texture When there are too many patches to match one at a time.
Quoted

Ranges include labor, material and clean-up. Paint is quoted separately. There is a minimum service charge, so if you have two or three small things, save them up for one trip.

Why a patch shows

A patch almost never fails because the hole was filled badly. It fails for one of three reasons, and all three are finishing, not filling:

  • The texture does not match. Knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel and Santa Fe all look different and all spray differently.
  • The feather is too narrow. A patch feathered six inches leaves a ridge that window light finds immediately.
  • It was painted without priming. Compound drinks paint differently than the wall, so the patch flashes even when it is flat.

We spray a sample board first, you hold it against your wall in daylight, and only then do we touch the room.

Common questions

How soon can you come out?

For small repairs usually the same week, and sometimes the same day if we are already working in your area. Text a photo and we will tell you straight away.

Is it done in one visit?

Most are. Large patches and ceilings sometimes need a second visit because compound has to dry between coats. Colorado's dry air speeds that up, but it is not instant.

Do you paint as well?

We prime the patch so it will not flash. Finish paint is quoted separately, or we leave it ready for your painter.

Can you match my texture?

Yes, and we spray a sample board for you to approve before we touch the wall. Texture matching is where most repairs give themselves away.

Is any job too small?

No, but there is a minimum service charge. If you have two or three small things, group them and you get far better value per trip.

Do you work with insurance claims?

Yes. After a hail storm in Aurora that is a great deal of what we do. We provide an itemised estimate your adjuster can read.

Do you work for property managers?

Yes, and it is some of our favourite work. Turnovers, pre-listing repairs and punch lists — billed per job and worked around your schedule.

How far do you travel?

Aurora and the whole east and south metro — Centennial, Parker, Denver, Commerce City, Brighton and nearby. If we cannot get to you, we will tell you who can.
